Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This is where you should answer the most common questions prospective customers might have. It’s a good idea to cover things like your return policy, product warranty info, shipping and returns, etc. Check out the examples below.

Why did you create this site?

People have been screwed over for too long by banks. Whether it's a service fee, overdrafts, or outright mortgage fraud, we all have a reason to have anger for banks. This site, and the accompanying projects are to give a voice to people beyond social media and an aloof bank management team.

What's your experience with banks?

13 years of working at Bank of America, seven of them as a sales manager. I dealt with huge sales goals, motivation from my superiors to "oversell", and work to maximize our revenue. I was appalled the higher up I got, because bankers were treated worse than janitors in my opinion. When you have a bad workplace, you have a horrible customer experience.

What is your purpose for this site?

Making a living with the knowledge and skills I have, of course! I also want to show the banks that the public is not scared of them. They know they are getting screwed, and they will fight back with their words.

What banks are you going to expose?

Any of the larger banks. Bank of America the main one, because I worked there and know a lot of the ins and outs of how they fail their clients. Wells Fargo, Chase, Citi. Any large bank. Smaller banks and credit unions are not on my radar. There's a lot of things wrong there, of course, but on a much smaller scale.

On your book project, can I remain anonymous?

Yes you can. I will ask if you want to include your Twitter Handle, your first name, last initial, or whatever you feel comfortable with.

Will I receive any compensation for my submission?

Good question. I am just one man. One man without a job at the moment, though I hope my podcast and bank pundit career goes somewhere. I cannot compensate EVERYONE who submits something, though I plan on giving away gifts every now and again during my push to create our bank service anthology project.

I will be donating half of royalties and money made from this site to a charity though. I feel doing the right thing is important in a world where the bank wouldn't do something like that.
